Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Had my first slice of gluten free pizza here. The crust was a bit soggy and had a rubbery consistency to it. The flavor was on par with a typical margherita pizza. The rest of the family was satisfied with their normal pizzas. While we weren't blown away by our dinner, we decided America's Pie is the best we've had in the West Chester area. Be sure to get the nuttiest peach salad.

The pizza wasn't the best for the price of having it delivered. It was also a pretty small pizza.

America's Pie = delicious. They have remained one of my go to places in West Chester for a while now- in fact, for a bit my husband and I would go here every Friday. The food is really good, although portions on sandwiches can be inconsistent. There are new special sandwiches/platter added every week, and sometimes it feels like there may be a bit too much on the menu. The staff is friendly and remembers my husband when he goes in. All in all a good choice for a quick lunch or dinner.

I moved to West Chester two years ago. I searched for a great pizza establishment with delicious pizza, great steak sandwiches and hoagies that delivers. Fast forward to the present and we can not say enough good about America's Pie. We LOVE it. Always consistent with their food. Pizza, sandwhichs, salads, hoagies etc...always fabulous. Their telephone presence is always helpful and pleasent and their delivery team is always very polite. You can not go wrong with America's Pie
(5)Pamela C.
That was the grossest tuna fish sandwich ever. Thank you pepper overload. I ordered tuna with cheese. I got it toasted with lettuce and tomato. I know it isn't it your specialty but a little attention to detail goes a long way when the boss' are bringing back lunch to the people in the office who can't get out. Fail. And now I am hangry,
(2)J J.
Had the Brooklyn Style Pizza. It was delicious and worth the price. The workers were friendly and helpful as well.
(4)Brian B.
Great pizza, great strombolis. Appetizer menu? Out of this world. Wraps, soups, salads, etc. all amazing. Sandwiches......specialty sandwiches.......if there is one thing I will take to my grave it is that America's Pie is the end all, be all greatest shop when it comes to sandwiches. The Doc Halliday is my go to but the selection is untouchable. If you're in town, you have to stop here.
(5)Shannon M.
great delivery, great gluten free menu, LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
(5)Steve S.
They have 30 different types of pizza by the slice!! I've tried three thus far and all have been above average. My goal is to eventually try them all. If you like toppings and unique combinations this is the place to go.
(4)Irene A.
By far the best place for {white} pizza in West Chester. I enjoy the holiday white & the Idaho pizza is also a delicious option. I however will say that any of their pizzas I have tried with sauce was very mediocre. When ordering go crazy... Or go don't order. Their simple items on the menu that you find at any shop is subpar, but the crazy... Always enjoyable. Their specialty sandwiches are a hit or miss. The {gouda} Mac & cheese bites are scrumptious, the regular bites are disgusting. Their wings & fries aren't good either... Like I said.. Stick to the crazy.

Been in West Chester for 6 years and have had a hard time finding really great pizza. Thankfully America's Pie finally saved us. The upside-down pizza with a mixture of mozzarella and provolone is definintely one of the top 5 pizzas I've ever had. We have tried several sandwiches as well, all are unique but quality flavors and combinations. Gets a very solid 4.5 stars. I want to try other things from the menu before I give a full 5 stars. I am a creature of habit but will make it a point to venture off the beaten path the next time we order from AP.
(4)Patty T.
We have lived in West Chester for 14 years and FINALLY found a great pizza joint! The crust has the perfect chewiness, the sauce has flavor and the toppings are all very fresh and creative. In addition, I like the attention to detail they give to some of the toppings. For example, the taco pie, they put tomato and lettuce in a separate container ( for takeout) and you add it when you get home, so as not be wilted. I like that kind of detail, it means they care. We have ordered from them multiple times and it's always good, and we order different pizzas each time. I have yet to try some of there gourmet sandwiches which sound great. The delivery is always on time and when we pick up it's always ready when we arrive. The counter help is always very pleasant.

One I want to start off with myself and employees come her very often good is excellent but I have to say first I have encounter with the worst customer service was with a older female when I went to place my order I wanted to order half wrap and salad she became very rude they way she approached me on how you no longer do that I explained that you have before she said our menu has changed. I asked to speak to a manager and rudely said I am the manager
(1)Michael K.
I love the soup of the day. Tried the jalapeno crab which was very good. They sell various types of pizza by the slice. On site parking can be a problem at busy lunchtime hour.
(4)Dan K.
They are hit or miss. In the few times we got delivery, it took about an hour. A good variety of pizza and tastes good overall. Actually like it better re-heated the next day as opposed to directly following delivery. Sandwiches have been soggy each time and the bread has been texturally off. Too many places to order from to wait an hour for delivery.
(2)Robert P.
Ok pizza ok sandwiches . If they have seeded tools get your sandwich on it. No regular closing hours activates me. It depends on how busy they are. They always get my order right but is only ok. My students say it's great but I must be missing something.
(3)Jacqueline F.
Love this place. Great friendly staff and quick service. The pizza is great in my opinion. There is a nice big space in the actual restaurant for dining in if that's what you're going for. I ordered for pickup the last time I got pizza from here and I showed up earlier than they told me to because I happened to be close by and they got me my food almost as soon as I walked in the door. Also, who can resist an initial 10% yelp coupon?
(5)Wcu F.
How I long for the day that I can find truly awesome delivery pizza. America's Pie is basically on par with every other pizza place who I have ordered delivery from. I ordered during non-dinner times and my order took about 45 minutes to get here. Not a big deal, though, because sometimes a girl wants to sit on the couch and wait for her food to arrive on a silver (cardboard) platter. I ordered a 10" pizza with half plain and half mushrooms. The extra toppings are quite expensive, but you can order them on just half your pie if you want to save a buck or two. The pizza was strictly average when it arrived and a bit more expensive than I would like to pay for strictly average pizza. I paid about $15 for my half mushroom pie. It seems like a better deal to order a large specialty pie, but when you're dining for one and watching reality tv reruns, a small calls your name just fine. My advice? Save your pennies for something a bit more delicious--or order delivery from an average pie place that's a little cheaper. When you just need a slice, no need to splurge on your basic pie. CONCLUSION: middle of the lane in price, taste, and delivery speeds Quality: It satisfied the craving, and that's all Price: a little higher than your average slice.
(2)Ashley D.
Their buffalo chicken pizza is to die for. Really really good chicken which is hard to find on buff chix slices. This place is a good find in a town crowded w pizza places. An underrated business. Maybe if they were more in the center of town with the drunk crowd, they would get more of the attention they deserve
(5)Shannon M.
Holy moly, this place is AWESOME. The gluten-free pizza is AMAZING. The blacked chicken caesar salad was incredible as well. A nice kick of spice -- just the way I like it. I wrote before that Brothers had great gluten free pizza and they do -- if you want something more like a thin crust pizza. The gluten free pizza at America's Pie is very flexible and soft. There's also no crust because the whole pie is smothered in sauce and cheese. I keep thinking about that pizza. I'm becoming obsessed with it.
(5)Josh W.
Ordered Mac and cheese bites and buffalo chicken pizza. Ordered online which came to $19 and something. Picked up order, got in the car and discovered we'd been given the wrong Mac and cheese bites (we'd had them before) and instead had been given and charged for a more expensive kind. Figured it was a mistake. Went back in to ask and was told they no longer do the 'standard' Mac and cheese bites and that we were in fact charged more than our emailed receipt said we shouldn't of been. Ordered on their website so this was surprising. Apparently their website prices are not up to date and neither is their menu. Thanks for telling us... Had the (wrong) Mac and cheese bites before and didn't like them but, employee said they were good so figured we'd give them another shot and deal with the wrong price and wrong order. Sadly, they still sucked and the pizza wasn't that great either. There are too many decent pizza places in town to advertise the wrong prices and menu on your website and then deliver a sub par product at the end of it. Americas pie is officially no longer our hometown pizza shop.
(2)Joshua S.
Food was awful got wings and pizza. I honestly never write reviews but it was that bad. Nothing tasted fresh and pizza had very little cheese.
(1)Farad C.
When i visit West Chester, this is my go to place for grub. The menu has variety but isnt confusing. The pizzas I've tried were fresh and made to order and the staff were friendly and professional.
(4)Lauren O.
Best pizza in West Chester. I would give it 5 stars, but it is not that super delicious NJ or NYC-level pizza, because West Chester is a college town. If you are in WC... Go with America's Pie. It's the best around here.
(4)Stephanie C.
America's Pie has great pizzas but we LOVE their wing zings (or dings). Breaded hot wings that are crispy and perfect! We specifically order from here just for the wings!
(5)Robert C.
Will be a go to for pizza and sandwiches!
(4)lisa h.
The owner is really nice the food is always consistent the sandwiches are great I like the naćhos they are busy busy busy
(5)Ellen K.
The food is really good but everytime I order something is wrong. Today I order Cajun Fries...came as plain fries...my friend order cheese wiz, no cheese wiz, ask for extra ketchup, called twice, none came with the order. Just wish they would get it right!
(2)Tim C.
Some of the best pizza that I have ever had! They have some really creative pizzas. The Idaho Potato is one of my favorite pizzas. It has fried potatoes, caramelized onions, and cheese. Quite tasty. The service is friendly and the food is tops. Their tacos are really good and they often have special sandwiches daily. It's probably the best pizza in Chester county.

My partner and I headed out to West Chester to visit a friend who is going to school out there. When we arrived, we weighed our options for dinner. Our friend said that she had originally wanted to take us somewhere in "downtown" West Chester but then she read the reviews for America's Pie and was confident that it had such a good reviews and an elaborate menu that we were all sure to find something we'd like. I think she started out by saying, "There's this really good Italian restaurant..." One downside was that they didn't serve alcohol but I thought of the large bottle of wine we had brought her and suggested that maybe they were BYOB. We decided to call to find out and we found it odd that the person who answered had to check if they were BYOB. This should have signaled something important for us, but alas it did not. So we passed by at least one fancy looking Italian place that I thought was where we heading but pulled into a little shopping plaza and found America's Pie. As soon as we pulled up it became apparent that all of us had a very different expectation of what type of dining establishment it was. Rather than a sit down restaurant, it was clearly more of a take out pizza place. We felt pretty ridiculous carrying in our giant bottle of wine and sitting down at one of the few booths in the tiny place. We grabbed one of the menus and man they were not exaggerating about a large menu! They have just about everything you could want from pizza to hoagies to tacos to salads of all kinds. There was definitely something for everyone, including an impressively large selection of Gluten-free items. There is no waiter service so we had to go and order at the register. I shyly asked them if they have a corkscrew, which of course they did not. So our poor ridiculous wine bottle just sat with us at the table unopened for the remainder the meal. I'm pretty sure all of the parents with their kids picking up takeout thought I was an alcoholic. It didn't help that the three fo us kept falling into spastic fits of giggling. The food itself was good. I got an Italian hoagie and a side of jalapeno poppers. My friend got a gluten-free cheese pizza and my girlfriend got a large chicken salad. The portions were very generous and the prices were very reasonable. I ended up getting a little bit sick after eating the hoagie but it was very tasty despite that. The gluten-free pizza crust is squishier than regular pizza crust (reminded me a little bit of sourdough) but a good option for gluten-free folks. In the end the experience was pretty hilarious because it was just so different than the sit-down Italian restaurant that we were expecting. My friend kept apologizing but really it made the whole experience so much more fun, even if I may have given the impression that I was a raging alcoholic to the other patrons with my giant wine bottle.

This place is totally acceptable, they do make pizza, and they know how to do it. But let's have some perspective here... 4.5 stars? I mean, you can make pizza at home that's like 10 times better than this. Just make some dough, roll it out, put some sauce and cheese on it... super easy, super good, probably a lot better than this. That said, this place is great for kids, parking is super convenient, and the prices are totally reasonable. The convenience factor alone probably gives it a leg up over most places. But, food wise, eh.

This place got off on the wrong foot with me when I saw their menu at their online website. First of all, whoever uploaded the photo of the menu had not used a high enough resolution that you could read it easily on a laptop (print too small and zooming in made it fuzzy). Second, the name "America's PIE" and a picture of Uncle Sam with a pizza made me expect to see pizza front and center. Instead I had to read through many, many listings for cutesy Americana-named sandwiches (about 15 or 20 of them), wraps, paninis, burgers, steaks, tacos, hotdogs, hoagies, platters and other stuff before I even GOT to the pizza listings. Maybe I'm weird, but where I come from, a good pizza place mainly serves PIZZA and to the extent it has anything else, it's Italian food like pasta and salad. Good pizza is not normally found at a diner serving everything under the sun. I decided to try the pizza anyway based on all the four and five star reviews. I should have trusted my initial instinct and skipped it. So I found their online ordering website (completely different website with a yaylong menu on that too) and ordered a pizza with a couple of toppings. The toppings are like an extra $2.50 to $3 apiece. This means if you order a New York thin crust pizza with about three toppings, you may effectively double the cost of said pizza. I shrugged that off figuring we're in a pricey area and the pizza was said to be great. The pizza was quickly done and it arrived reasonably warm (not hot), but it was, alas, not great. I eat good pizza in New York City a couple times a year, and America's Pie "New York Thin Crust" does not bear much relation to New York pizza. The crust was very thin, thinner than New York style, and either underdone or prepared in some way to make it soft and limp. It was not limp like a greasy New York slice, it was limp like undercooked, and strangely grease-free. It would have been decent if it had been baked to crispness, like thin Roman pizza, but it was rubbery, not crisp at all. And for the price charged for toppings, I really expected to see these generously applied to cover the entire surface area of the pizza, and baked with it instead of being seemingly applied to a pre-cooked cheese pizza and heated just enough to stick on. With three toppings, I also did not expect to see big, visible bare spots on my pizza where there was nothing but sauce and mozz cheese. Especially when I'm paying well over 20 dollars for a small size. Perhaps if someone grew up with this pizza, or associates it with fun times at college, one might think it was good. I myself tend to agree with the guy who said you could make better pizzas yourself at home. I might still go here to try something else off the massive menu, such as the steak, or the platters, or the tacos (which look interesting, I must admit). I won't be ordering their pizza again though.
(2)Natalie R.
we finally found our go-to take out place! Pizza is good, they have a bunch of specialty sandwhiches to choose from, and LOVE thier french fries. salads are huge!
(4)Ben S.
Probably the best Pizza in West Chester but what really is somewhat neglected is their sandwiches. Definitely try these even if you aren't in the mood for some pizza. While the service isn't always great you can't argue with the taste.
(4)Michael G.
Stopped by at America's Pie with some friends for lunch. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall pizza/Italian place with great prices and some dingy decor. It's got a few TV's around the wall and just groups of old guys everywhere. However, the food is great, the people are kind, and the chefs are merry, and the prices are just right as well. I ordered two slices, one was a broccoli/tomato/cheese white pizza (I forget the name, something like Holiday White or something), and the other was a Hawaiian. The slices ended up being extremely generous and I ended up even bringing some home. The Holiday White was very filling, ingredients were very fresh and succulent. The Hawaiian was a bit disappointing, just a plain cheese pizza with topping of chopped ham and pineapple very obviously shoddily put on once the cheese pizza was heated. The pieces were quite hastily put on that when I held the slice, all the topping ended up falling into the center. No-bueno. My friend ordered the Pistol Pete sandwich, which I highly recommend if you want something heavier. All in all, America's Pie is a great stop by for something to grab for lunch. It's got reasonably tasting pies and Italian food (at very reasonable prices), and I'll definitely stop by again. Atmosphere and my Hawaiiian pizza are the only gripes, and I'd give this restaurant a 3.5 star if there was an option, but I'll have to bump down. There seems to be some mixed reviews for this place. If you're going for something to hold you up for lunch, that isn't too expensive and is still quite tasty (I am not very picky for pizza) then America's Pie will do the job quite nicely.
(3)Steve Z.
Great pizza by Chester county standards, which isn't saying much. They make that dough too soft for all them Chester County WASPs. Decent but not great quality sauce and cheese. On a positive note, America's pie is better than any pizza you'll find in Berwyn, Paoli and Malvern.
(3)Vinnie W.
Holy guacamole this place rocks. I found it on yelp. The people were super nice. When I asked what they recommended every employee suggested something different. I settles on the garlic nots and the pistol Pete. Both were awesome. If I am ever back in west Chester I am going there for lunch. Yum!
(5)Fritz N.
Ok, so I just don't understand the reviews. I placed 2 orders in two weeks. First was takeout. Order of chicken wings and a chicken parm sandwich. Wings included a couple of stray, sauce-coated stale burned fryer fries. Gross and unacceptable. Dump your fryer basket before dropping the wings. Wings were just meh and did not include celery or dressing (I didn't ask, but it wasn't offered either). Chicken parm sandwich was pretty much inedible. I will say the roll was good. The chicken, however, was tough and chewy. Again, just poor. My wife decides to give them another shot the following week. This time it was a lunchtime pizza delivery order. The order took about an hour. "Brooklyn-style" large one-topping. It tasted like cardboard. It was really bad. I'm from the school of "even when pizza is bad, it's still ok." This was the exception. I would rather have ordered Dominos. And I don't like Dominos. I know many people who swear by this place. And I certainly have no axe to grind here. I just had two really bad experiences and I won't be giving them another shot.
(1)Adam F.
We order from here pretty regularly and it is very good. Their pocket pies are great (but sometimes all the insides are on one side) and their pizzas are always delicious. They have a ton of options for different food types, but some of it can be hit or miss. Their salads are okay and the chicken fingers are iffy, but the hot dogs and wraps are great (just too much chicken). If you live in the area and you haven't tried this place, you should!
(4)Larry C.
Americas Pie is awesome. Delivery is a little slow but they always get it right and I've never had a problem with my food. I usually pick up, it's faster since I live in town. Hours are nice too since I work nights. The staff is friendly too and always willing to do what you need to make you happy.
(5)Annie P.
Amazing!! I love the sandwiches here, extremely fresh. My personal favorite is "The Corey" which has breaded chicken cutlets, arugula, fresh mozzarella, bruschetta and balsamic vinegar. Yum! I've had "The Sinatra" as well and liked it too. There are always a million things I want to try every time I order. Very busy always, and great customer service.
(5)Paul W.
great gluten-free pizza!
(5)Craig D.
(4) ~ overall very good food & service OUR TAKE-OUT MENU: * Jalapeno Crab Soup ~ (4) very good * The Naples ~ (4.5) Very Good...basically combines my (2) favorite sandwiches = Philly Cheese Steak & Italian Hoagie;-) * Upside-Down Pizza (provolone) = (3) ok...too much parmesan cheese, which is very pungent. * Cherry Pocket Pie(dessert) = (4) very good...It's BIG & chewy & comes with a dipping sauce;) NOTE: There are about (5-6) tables inside, which can get full at Lunch.
(4)Dan W.
I've lived in West Chester now for almost 2 years, and this is still my favorite pie in the area. I have really only ordered delivery, so I can't speak to the actual restaurant, but can't say enough about their pizza. You can tell it's quality ingredients as soon as you open the box. If you're a plain fan, you'll love it -- very flavorful, soft crust and always the right amount of cheese. I'm actually getting hungry just writing this. Also, check out the BBQ chicken pie. Arguably the best I've had. They use large chunks of baked chicken and a sweet BBQ sauce. Has to be my favorite from AP. If you haven't tried it. Get it. You won't be sorry.
(5)Lisa H.
Best pizza shop in west Chester. The sandwiches are excellent and the seeded rolls are always fresh. You can tell that these people care and love what they do

The good : The food is not bad! The bad : Here goes the story - I ordered 2 large pizzas for my friends and I on a weekday at 9:05 pm. I was told the pizza would be delivered in 45 mins. Well, 45 mins later I call them only to be told that the pizza delivery boy was out with the delivery and should be reaching us soon.(My place is 3.8 miles from the restaurant). 20 mins later I still had hungry folks asking me where's the pizza. I give them a call and they say he should be really close and would be delivering the pizza soon. Another 15 mins later, I still had no pizza! I call them and the lady on the phone responds saying the pizza delivery guy left long back and the first delivery he had to make took him longer than expected and he should be in our place in under 5 mins. 25 mins later, the pizza guy finally makes it, I was extremely hungry and angry that couple of pizzas took 2 hours to be delivered to a location which is 5 mins away! I ask him why he was late and his reply - "Well I was given the pizza 20 mins ago and I was lost". Either he was lying or the lady on the phone. I then paid him and upon opening the box realized that the pizzas were cold that I had to place it in an oven to make them edible ! Absolutely pathetic !! Will never be ordering from these guys again.
(1)Matthew G.
Very tasty. Definitely one of the best sandwich shops in the immediate West Chester area. Some of the sandwiches are hit or miss but they make a solid pie and have good wings. What really surprised me though is how good the homemade soups are especially the chicken pot pie. It might be a little on the salty side for some palates but there soups are surprisingly good and something you almost never find at a basic sandwich shop. The only thing that is lacking is some of the young girls on the phone tend to screw up what your are ordering. Make sure they read back to you what you ordered for a pick-up or delivery order before you hang up.
(4)Plucky M.
Our family ate here for the first time last week, being new to the area. As an appetizer we got pierogies. They were just okay, but two of the six pierogies were still frozen inside. We got a single slice of cheese pizza for each of our three kids. They are not picky eaters, but one of them wouldn't eat hers. I think the cause was that the red sauce here is quite sweet. Some may enjoy that, but it was much too sweet for my personal taste. My husband and I shared the "small" calzone. It was HUGE and it was delicious. A very mixed experience overall which is why I have this place just three stars.
(3)Heather D.
Great Pizza Terrible Service. Ordered from this place several times and had a great experience always loved the food. Tonight ordered a pizza, took an hour for delivery and the food arrived cold. Called to speak to a manager to see if we could get a replacement. The manager/owner could not have been ruder. Yelled at me on phone, kept saying idk what you want me to do?! When I asked for a replacement pizza he said he would deliver one this once and that I had to return the cold pizza. I was appalled from the terrible service. I am very disappointed because like I said the food is very good. If you order from them I would suggest pick up and staying far far away from the rude manager who obviously has no consideration or gratitude for his customers.
(2)Kaitlin K.
Ordered and ate at restaurant on a Friday- big mistake. Crowded and extremely slow. BUT pizza was amazing (or we just famished...). Really dirtied the pizza up with toppings. Got the cheeseburger one. But thick filling pizza and a lot of toppings. Definitely will go back but order delivery and at a different time.
(4)Frank T.
Really good pizza! We had the mushroom and pepperoni pizza, and it was one the best i have ever had! Wish they were down in dc! :)
(5)Sean D.
If you live in the West Chester area, you really need to try this place!! The best pizza and sandwich shop in West Chester, hands down! (Delivery within 15 minutes of location, also) The upside pie is fantastic. Sauce is fresh and flavorful, crust is good, but not excellent. The variety of pizzas is almost overwhelming.... and the sandwiches are actually overwhelming. I held off reviewing until I had tried a lot of the menu, to be sure I was getting an accurate sense of the place. I have not had a bad meal here after 8 sandwiches and 4 pizzas. Personal faves: cheesesteak is new favorite in town, Pistol Pete, specials change weekly (sandwich, hotdog, pizza, salad specials), The Naples (genius idea) The staff is very friendly on the phone and in person. The parking has been fine when I went, and the restaurant itself was clean, with no-frills tables.

I have my go to thing when I order from here: Pocket Pie. But I have tried other things like the potato pizza which was pretty good. It could be better but if you really enjoy the super sweet onions they use on it then you will be in heaven (which I dont, but I am a bit odd about onions). The upside down pizza is delicious! It is super simple with just cheese and sauce, but super yummy. And sometimes the pocket pies are a little hit or miss in that all the stuffings are all to one side so you have to pretty much massage it all around before biting in, LOL. But if all you get is the pepperoni pocket pie, then youre pretty much screwed and have to just deal with all your peps to one side.

I love to order from orderup.com for America's Pie. They have so many options to choose from. My favorites are the Margherita Pizza, fried eggplant sticks appetizer, and the FDR salad. Delivery is generally between 45 and and hour at night.
(5)Tee O.
Ordered a few times from here ... co-worker found them .... they are now running neck to neck with my favorite WC Italian Restaurant. Friendly workers. Good and uncommon food. Not the same ol' same ol' menu!!! Which is good to see. Also, some hard to find favorites from home ... just named something else ... but still good!! Will definitely keep on saved numbers in phone.
(5)Andrea D.
BEST PIZZA IN WC AREA! The my blue heaven pizza is to die for!!! The employees are super friendly on the phone and I have never had one screwed up order. They deliver and always deliver within the timeframe given (most the time it's a shorter time than they tell you). Their sandwiches are awesome as well.
(5)Matthew S.
Best pizza in West Chester. Do yourself a favor and try their deep dish. Also, the sandwiches and salads are some of the best in the area. I've only known about this place for 6 months and I've probably ordered 20 times.
(5)Michael C.
This place easily wins the award for best pizza in west chester. Honestly, that isn't a hard award to win; most pizza in west chester is just plain bad. I've only had their pizza so I can't comment on anything else they offer (and they do offer a lot). I can probably count the number of places that can deliver a crispy crust without burning the bottom on one hand, America's Pie is one of them. I think $1.50 for toppings is a little steep, but they make up for it with a fairly priced pie. Some toppings are free like extra garlic, olive oil, or onions which is always nice. It feels weird to mention, but whoever was answering the phone that day was the most bubbly receptionist I've ever talked to. It makes my life so much easier when I can special order from someone, without confusion, because they are fluent in English.
(5)PM W.
Very run of the mill. Also, I didn't think they were exceptionally cheap as they charge a processing fee to use a credit card (even for a $30 bill).
(2)Mike G.
These guys are good. Went over and order a pie from a recommendation of a neighbor and alias they were as good as advertised. I would say best pie in WC. America's Pie did not blow me away like some mom and pop brick over pizza in NYC but they are very good for Chester County.
(5)Joe B.
Great spot so far from there pizza too the sandwiches I've never been disappointed !!! And not having too go into town for lunch is a huge plus!!!
(5)Bob H.
Great pizza with so many different options!
(4)Rob K.
Have taken out from here a few dozen times over the past eight months The meatball sandwich, pizza, BLT wrap, crab soup, and turkey with stuffing sandwich are all great. Never had a bad meal from here. Highly recommend.
(5)Vanessa S.
Yum! Good pizza, friendly staff and super clean. We ate in as we are from out of town and it was better than I hoped for when I pulled up outside. The exterior looks like it is just a take-out location, but I was wrong.
(4)deanna lynn w.
This place is awesome. Large strombolis and calzones, great sandwiches (love the mcqueen and pilgrim - pilgrim will get you by for a delivery version of capriotti's bobby). New Orleans pizza is yummy and my fave but so far everything has been really good. Order from here - hard working and eager to please staff.
(5)Madelyn C.
We went here 7/14. I can't speak for the pizza as I didn't have any, but the cheesesteaks were hot and delicious! Also like the sweet potato fries.
(4)Neil D.
Just tried this place for the first time and so far, so good. Since Las Vegas pizza has gone downhill in recent months (sad) I've been looking for a legit WC pizza joint. My wife and I tried the upside down pie with provolone and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked (save for a few bubbles) with great sauce. It's (almost) like a little bit of Pica's out in Chester County. Definitely worth a try.
(4)Katie B.
Perfect crust, delicious sauce, all around great pizza. The staff is friendly and the menu has something for everyone. My family and I have ordered pizza, stromboli, calzones, sandwiches, wings, etc. and we have never been disappointed. This place is definitely worth the trip!
(5)Joseph K.
Picked-up pizza for dinner with a side of garlic knots. The knots where great : bursting with flavor and juice. Almost needed a napkin. Their potato pizza is highly recommended.
(4)Brock C.
OK, got to stop by and try the pizza. Do yourself a favor and try their Upside Down Pizza with provolone on the bottom and sauce on top. For my tastes, the sauce is made with the perfect amount of sweetness. You heard it here first, this may be West Chester's BEST PIZZA.
(5)E K.
BEST pizza and cheese steaks! I am in disbelief over how great the cheese steak tasted. I cannot remember the last time I had a great steak. Fresh ingredients! Great first experience; food was awesome.
(5)Joe B.
Tremendous pizza and wings. Also, the fried dough balls they make are out of this world. Great prices and service. I've been coming here since they opened at least once a week. The location isn't the best for visibility, but its right next to Rita's Water Ice.
(5)Mike S.
excellent pizza, and the patriotic pizza boxes are great too!
(5)Robert P.
Ok pizza ok sandwiches . If they have seeded tools get your sandwich on it. No regular closing hours activates me. It depends on how busy they are. They always get my order right but is only ok. My students say it's great but I must be missing something.
(3)Ashley D.
(2)Dan K.
(2)Josh W.
(4)Lauren D.
(5)Brian B.
(4)Craig D.
(4)Anurag S.
The pizza wasn't the best for the price of having it delivered. It was also a pretty small pizza.
(2)Sara M.

(3)M. M.
(4)Lauren O.
Best pizza in West Chester. I would give it 5 stars, but it is not that super delicious NJ or NYC-level pizza, because West Chester is a college town. If you are in WC... Go with America's Pie. It's the best around here.
(4)Brigid B.
Fail. And now I am hangry,
(2)Michael G.
(1)J J.
Had the Brooklyn Style Pizza. It was delicious and worth the price. The workers were friendly and helpful as well.
(4)Adam F.
(5)Dan W.
You can tell that these people care and love what they do
(5)Jagdeesh N.
(5)Michael K.
I love the soup of the day. Tried the jalapeno crab which was very good. They sell various types of pizza by the slice. On site parking can be a problem at busy lunchtime hour.
(4)Sean D.
(5)Irene A.
(3)Kate D.

Best pizza in West Chester. Do yourself a favor and try their deep dish. Also, the sandwiches and salads are some of the best in the area. I've only known about this place for 6 months and I've probably ordered 20 times.

Very run of the mill. Also, I didn't think they were exceptionally cheap as they charge a processing fee to use a credit card (even for a $30 bill).

These guys are good. Went over and order a pie from a recommendation of a neighbor and alias they were as good as advertised. I would say best pie in WC. America's Pie did not blow me away like some mom and pop brick over pizza in NYC but they are very good for Chester County.

Have taken out from here a few dozen times over the past eight months The meatball sandwich, pizza, BLT wrap, crab soup, and turkey with stuffing sandwich are all great. Never had a bad meal from here. Highly recommend.

Yum! Good pizza, friendly staff and super clean. We ate in as we are from out of town and it was better than I hoped for when I pulled up outside. The exterior looks like it is just a take-out location, but I was wrong.

We went here 7/14. I can't speak for the pizza as I didn't have any, but the cheesesteaks were hot and delicious! Also like the sweet potato fries.

Perfect crust, delicious sauce, all around great pizza. The staff is friendly and the menu has something for everyone. My family and I have ordered pizza, stromboli, calzones, sandwiches, wings, etc. and we have never been disappointed. This place is definitely worth the trip!

Picked-up pizza for dinner with a side of garlic knots. The knots where great : bursting with flavor and juice. Almost needed a napkin. Their potato pizza is highly recommended.

BEST pizza and cheese steaks! I am in disbelief over how great the cheese steak tasted. I cannot remember the last time I had a great steak. Fresh ingredients! Great first experience; food was awesome.

Tremendous pizza and wings. Also, the fried dough balls they make are out of this world. Great prices and service. I've been coming here since they opened at least once a week. The location isn't the best for visibility, but its right next to Rita's Water Ice.

excellent pizza, and the patriotic pizza boxes are great too!
